When you enter Finca Ca N’Estella, you are not simply entering a winery. You are entering our home.

Here, the winery and the family home are one and the same: the farmhouse where the Rabetllat i Vidal family has lived and made wine for generations. What you drink does not come from a factory. It comes from our vineyards, the ones that surround us; it is made here and bottled on the estate. The home, the land and the hands that make the wine are all part of the same story.

It all began with Delfí Rabetllat, our grandfather, who bought the estate because of his passion for wine and his desire to make it with excellence. Years later, Mercè Rabetllat and Jaume Vidal took up their father’s work and gave it a new dimension: a winery adapted to today’s technological needs, while continuing to make wines and cavas with respect for the land and with the time that extraordinary things require.

Today, the third generation continues the journey, guided by the same principles and supported by a team who understands that here, things are done differently: as a unique boutique winery, just a stone’s throw from Barcelona.

Someone lives here. That’s why Ca N’Estella is not just another winery.

At the heart of the estate stands the home of the Rabetllat i Vidal family. A farmhouse restored with the utmost respect for a heritage dating back to 1800: preserving what was already there, in the Italian tradition, without disguising it as anything it was never meant to be.

It is not a building designed for visitors.

It is the home where three generations have lived and made wine, and where today we welcome those who want to come and discover us.

2026 AWARDS

Five awards in one year.

Awards do not make a wine better: they confirm it. These are this year’s recognitions, to name just a few:

🥇 Cava Rabetllat i Vidal Gran Reserva Xarel·lo – Gold Medal at the Challenge International du Vin (France), one of the world’s most renowned wine competitions.

🥈 Cava Rabetllat i Vidal Gran Reserva de la Finca – Silver Medal at the prestigious Decanter World Wine Awards in London, an international benchmark for the evaluation of wines and cavas.

🥇 Gran Clot dels Oms Xarel·lo – Gold Medal and Best Xarel·lo of the DO Penedès, recognising the personality and authenticity of this emblematic local variety.

🥇 Clot dels Oms Rosé – Gold Medal and Best Rosé of the DO Penedès, an award that celebrates its elegance, freshness and aromatic expression.

🥉 Clot dels Oms Red – Bronze Medal in the DO Penedès, recognising its character, balance and the quality of a wine that remains true to its terroir.

Two of our wines are, this year, the best in the DO Penedès in their respective categories. And Xarel·lo, our most distinctive variety, has won Gold both in France and here in Catalonia.

We don’t make wine for awards. We simply make the wine we believe in. But when the recognition comes, it confirms what we already knew: making less wine, and making it exceptionally well, makes perfect sense.
